- Practical guide
Before you wash
Essential Washing Rules
Avoid mixing whites and colors. Always strictly follow the directions on your clothing labels.
Know your local water hardness to meter the correct amount of detergent. If clothes are heavily soiled, increase the dosage according to packaging instructions, and never overload the drum.
If you typically wash at 30–40°C, run a 90°C cycle with detergent every 10–15 washes (or monthly) to eliminate germs and unpleasant odors.
Act fast
The Rapid Action Stain Guide
Time is your critical variable. Act as soon as possible to prevent stains from setting into the fibers.
Grease stains (oil, butter)
Blot the excess, apply detergent directly onto the damp stain, wait a few minutes, then wash at the highest temperature indicated using the "heavily soiled" dose.
Blood
Rinse immediately in cold water to remove most of the stain, treat with detergent, then wash at the recommended temperature.
Sweat / deodorant
Dampen the area, rub detergent directly onto the stain, let it sit, then wash at the maximum temperature using the "heavily soiled" dose.
Chocolate
Remove the excess with a utensil, rinse in lukewarm water, apply detergent, let it act, then wash at the maximum temperature.
Coffee
Rinse in lukewarm water, soak in a powder-detergent solution (76 ml/10 L), wait 2 to 3 h for whites or 30 min for colours, then wash.
Stubborn stains
Soak for 24 hours in a powder-detergent solution, then rewash at the highest possible temperature.
